The Japanese Living and Learning Community (“J-House”) was opened in August 2011. The Japanese House is an opportunity for students with proficiency in Japanese to live in a campus residential community where Japanese is the medium of communication. Students in the J-House learn about Japan and share their learning with others in the (campus) community through various Japan-related programs.
There are currently 5 students living in the J-House, along with a student Community Advisor and a resident instructor from our partner school in Japan.
Applications for a spot in the J-House for the 2013-2014 academic year have been closed. If you are interested in living in the J-House in the future, please check back here in December of 2012 for application information, or go to the TCNJ Housing web page at that time.
